Who you are:

You are a hands-on electronics engineer who has designed, prototyped and delivered robust solutions based on electronic circuits. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists where you’ll play a key role in the design and development of mixed signal electronics systems that interfaces our sensors to IoT electronics.

What you will do:

  • Design, prototype and test mixed signal circuits for our electronic nose sensor chip
  • In collaboration with our product and IOT team, develop and design the device IOT architecture
  • Perform component research, schematic design, PCB layout design, prototyping and testing of circuits
  • Perform PCB board design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) in close collaboration with our PCB manufacturers
  • Support pre-compliance testing for EMI/EMC compliance and certification of product at external certified labs

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant role in embedded systems hardware design
  • Solid experience in PCB design tools such as Altium designer, OrCAD PCB designer etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits;
  • Skilled with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer and specialized test equipment);
  • Experience with exploring dev/eval boards and rapid testing and evaluation of subsystems and parts for the design of electronics hardware
  • Experience in documenting technical requirements
  • Knowledge of Python or any other programming will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of quality & safety standards (IEC-60601-1, CSA, FCC, CE) is desirable
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced start-up environment and ability to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
